    Audit Notice Trallong, Penpont and Llanfihangel Nant Bran Community Council   Financial year ending 31 March 2025 1. Date of announcement __29th June 2025___________________ 2. Each year the annual accounts are audited by the Auditor General for Wales. Prior to this date, any interested person has the opportunity to inspect and make copies of the accounts and all books, deeds, contracts, bills, vouchers and receipts etc relating to them for 20 working days on reasonable notice. For the year ended 31 March 2025, these documents will be available on reasonable notice on application to: __________trallongcc@gmail.com________________ ___________07967027486_______________________   between the hours of _____9am_____ and ___5pm_______ on Monday to Friday commencing on 10th July 2025 and ending on 7th August 2025 3. From 15 September 2025, until the audit has been completed, Local Government Electors and their representatives also have:  the right to question the Auditor General about the accounts.  the right to attend before the Auditor General and make objections to the accounts or any item in them. Written notice of an objection must first be given to the Auditor General.     0 Certification of delay to Audit 2024-25

    Certification and approval of annual accounts for 2024-25 Regulation 15(1) of the Accounts and Audit (Wales) Regulations 2014 (as amended) requires that Responsible Financial Officer of Trallong, Penpont and Llanfihangel Nant Bran Community Council sign and date the statement of accounts, and certify that it properly presents Trallong, Penpont and Llanfihangel Nant Bran Community Council receipts and payments for the year.   The Regulations required that this be completed by 30 June 2025.   Due to the next Community Council meeting being in July, the Responsible Financial Officer has not signed and certified the accounts for the year ended 31 March 2025. The statement of accounts will be prepared, and the Responsible Financial Officer will sign and certify the statement of accounts by 10th July 2025.

The closure is on behalf of MJ Quinn / Openreach, while works are being carried out to replace a pole in the verge. Residents access will be maintained. Emergency vehicles access will be maintained.
